Welcome to Ballard Dance!

Auditions for the 2026-2027 Ballard High School

Dance Team are coming this Spring! 

 

All students currently in grades 8th - 11th are eligible to audition for the 2026-2027 team.  Previous experience in dance is helpful, but it is NOT required. 

We encourage those new to dance or dance team to audition!

 

Dates/times for the auditions will be:​

Tuesday, 4/21/26 - Friday, 4/24/26

4:30pm-7:00pm each day

Location:  BHS Gym

 The audition consists of 3 clinic days (Tuesday-Thursday) and the final audition day on Friday (4:30-7:00 pm each day).  Dancers will learn jazz, lyrical/contemporary, pom, and hip-hop material throughout the week

to be danced in groups on the final audition day. 

You do not need to bring any pre-prepared choreography to the audition!

Audition Registration

In order to audition, you MUST be signed up for athletics registration on

Final Forms (Ballard's online system for athletics paperwork). 

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year opens on April 1st, 2026.

 

To register for the auditions, please complete the following steps:

• Visit the BHS website to learn about Athletics Registration on Final Forms here:  https://ballardhs.seattleschools.org/student-life/athletics/athletics-registration/

• Create a Final Forms profile (or log in for returning users), and choose "Dance" as your sport for the 2026-2027 school year.  (Dance is listed as a Winter sport at BHS.) 

• Complete all required forms within Final Forms, including submitting a sports physical form.

Registration is due by April 21st, 2026 (the first day of auditions)! ​​
